1991 - A Closer Look, exhibit of Kay Kurt’s paintings at the Dubuque Museum of Art
Native Dubuquer Kay Kurt attended Clarke College receiving her BFA in 1966. Kurt went on to have an extremely successful career in painting with her signature style, large canvases with meticulously painted brightly coloured candies.
In 1991, Kurt had a one-woman show at the Dubuque Museum of Art titled A Closer Look.
